Access to Work Coaching

Your ADHD coaching could be paid for. I'll help you get there.

Access to Work is a UK government grant that can fund one-to-one ADHD coaching for people in work. I've been through the Access to Work process myself, so I know how confusing it can feel. I'll give you a quote to use and walk you through what happens next.

I've sat where you're sitting.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 48, after decades of wondering why work felt so much harder for me than it seemed to for everyone else.

I've been through Access to Work myself. It was slow, confusing, and not built with an ADHD brain in mind.

So I make my part simple. You get a clear quote, a plain-English guide to the steps, and a coach who understands working with ADHD from the inside: the overwhelm, the task switching, the meetings that drain you for the rest of the day.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps from application to your first session

1

You apply

Apply online through Access to Work (Opens in New Page)

It doesn't need to be perfect: the assessment call is where the detail comes out.

2

Ask for ADHD coaching

At your assessment, say you'd like ADHD coaching and that you have a coach in mind. I'll send you a quote to pass on.

3

Your award arrives

Share your award letter with me. We agree a regular session day and time that suits your working week.

4

Coaching begins

I send one invoice for your package. Your employer pays it, then claims the cost back from Access to Work.

HOW PAYMENT WORKS

Simple, upfront, and the way most Access to Work coaches work

Before we start, I send one invoice for your whole package to your employer (or to you), not to Access to Work. Once it's paid, they claim the money back from Access to Work.

If you're employed

Your employer pays the package invoice and claims it back. I can send it straight to HR or finance.

If you're self-employed

The grant is paid to you. Pay for the package upfront, or month by month if that's easier, and claim it back.

What you'll get from me

A paid invoice for your package and confirmation of the sessions that took place: everything the claim needs.

Funded packages

Two packages, built to fit an Access to Work award

Rates for Access to Work and employer-funded coaching are quoted on request. Your quote covers the sessions plus the admin your claim needs.

6 sessions

A focused block to tackle one or two things that are getting in the way at work. Usually fortnightly, over about three months.

Funded rate on request

12 sessions

Time to build habits that last, with support through the ups and downs. Weekly or fortnightly, over three to six months.

Funded rate on request

Every package includes: a clear quote for your assessor · one invoice for the package · session confirmations for the claim.
