For Organisations

ADHD at work from someone who's lived it

Around 1 in 20 adults have ADHD, and many don't know it yet. I help organisations understand what ADHD really looks like at work, so they can support, keep and get the best from the talented people they already have.

Most ADHD at work goes unseen

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 48. For decades before that, the signs were there – in my school reports, in every job I had – but nobody had the language for it, including me.

That's the reality in most workplaces. People with ADHD are often seen as disorganised, inconsistent or "not trying hard enough", when what they actually need is understanding and a few simple adjustments.

When organisations get this right, the difference shows up in wellbeing, retention, sickness and performance.

Support that doesn't have to come from your budget

Many employees with ADHD can get one-to-one coaching funded through Access to Work, a UK government scheme. I've been through the process myself and support employees with theirs – including providing a quote for their assessor and a single invoice for the business to claim back.

I'm Chris, an ICF-trained ADHD coach and founder of ADHdifference Coaching, based in Stevenage. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 48, so I know what it's like to spend decades at work without understanding why some things felt so much harder. I bring honesty, humour and lived experience to every session.

Difference, not disordered.
