Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

What happens in a coaching session?

1

Each session is a calm, structured conversation where we explore what matters most to you. I support you with presence, curiosity, and reflective questions that help you generate your own insights, direction, and next steps.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

2

No. Coaching is future‑focused and centred on your goals, strengths, and lived experience. I don’t diagnose, treat, or advise. Instead, I partner with you to deepen awareness and support meaningful change in the areas you choose.

Do I need an ADHD diagnosis to work with you?

3

Not at all. Many clients come with a formal diagnosis, and many come with lived experience or self‑identification. Coaching focuses on your reality, not labels.

How long is a session?

4

Each session is 50 minutes.

How often do sessions take place?

5

Most clients choose weekly or fortnightly sessions. We decide together based on your goals, capacity, and preferred pace.

What is your coaching approach?

6

My practice is grounded in ICF principles: presence, curiosity, cultural awareness, and supporting you to create your own insights. I honour your identity, strengths, and emotional world, recognising that ADHD shows up differently for everyone.

Do you give advice or strategies?

7

I don’t give prescriptive advice. Instead, I help you explore your thinking, uncover patterns, and identify approaches that genuinely fit your life, identity, and values.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

8

My clients come from all over the world — the UK, USA, Australia, Portugal, and the Netherlands — each with their own story, identity, and lived experience.

You’re welcome to reflect, journal, or notice patterns — but there’s no homework unless you choose it. Coaching is designed to work with your brain, not against it.

What happens between sessions?

9

If you’re looking for a supportive, non‑judgemental space to explore your identity, patterns, strengths, and direction — coaching can be a powerful fit. A free consultation helps us decide together.
